Our dental suite features state of the art technology to provide a thorough cleaning of your pet’s teeth and overall oral exam. Only the safest anesthesia is used and your pet is continually monitored by a certified veterinary technician.
Comprehensive Oral Workups at Country Hills Pet Hospital include an ultrasonic cleaning & polishing of all the teeth and full dental x-rays. All of your pet's teeth and gums will be evaluated for evidence of disease and injury. Dental extractions may be recommended after review of your pet’s overall dental health.

Our trained staff can offer expert advice to help you keep your pets teeth clean and healthy! Dental health shouldn’t be taken for granted. Fortunately, many dental problems can be managed through at-home care and by bringing your pet to us for yearly dental checkups and teeth cleanings.

SURGERY

Our advanced surgery suite allows us to perform a variety of surgeries for your pets. We offer procedures such as; spay, neuter, mass removal, orthopedics and many more. We perform pre-surgical diagnostics to ensure that anesthesia will be as safe as possible for your pet; they are also monitored throughout the entire procedure by a certified veterinary technician. Our doctors are continuously learning new and innovative techniques and procedures to ensure that we can provide the best care for your pet.

Laser surgery is our standard here at Country Hills Pet Hospital; the laser provides a faster, less painful procedure for your pet. Our trained staff can provide additional information you may want on a specific procedure or answer any of your questions.

IMAGING

Digital-Radiography team
Here at Country Hills Pet Hospital we have digital radiography, which means we get results faster and therefore your pet treated in a more timely manner. Our radiographs are taken by our trained staff and evaluated by our doctors as well as a certified radiologist.

In addition the clinic provides endoscopy services. Endoscopy provides us with a full-color, magnified view of the area of interest. Additionally, endoscopic procedures are usually non-invasive or minimally invasive. We strive to offer our patients the highest level of medicine, and we are glad to be able to offer endoscopy as one of our diagnostic procedures.

Ultrasonography is a type of diagnostic technique that the clinic offers. Unlike some other imaging studies, like radiographs, ultrasonography does not use radiation. Instead, ultrasounds use a high-frequency sound (ultrasound) wave to create a picture of what is inside your pet’s body. Ultrasonography is a completely non-invasive, painless way to diagnose and evaluate many common diseases like bladder stones and tumors.

Because ultrasound images are produced in real-time, this technology can be used to evaluate the heart as it beats. This can help us detect abnormalities in the motion of heart valves, blood flowing through the heart, and contractions of the heart muscle. It can also be used to assess the heart for defects.

One of our highly trained doctors and certified technicians are performing these ultrasounds on your pets, allowing us to get the best images possible to then be evaluated. These images are sent to a specialist for evaluation.

LABORATORY

Laboratory testing is a valuable diagnostic tool used in our veterinary practice. As we continually strive to offer the highest-quality medicine, we are proud to include in-house diagnostic laboratory services as a means of providing excellent care to our patients.

Although some diagnostic tests can only be performed by outside laboratories, many other tests can be performed in the clinic. Having access to accurate in-house diagnostic test results can help our veterinary team treat your pet and get you results faster.

With our in-house laboratory we offer; complete blood counts, blood chemistries, urinalysis, fecal testing, heartworm and tick screens, cytology, skin testing, coagulation panels and more.
